“Bloom” Music Video

on YouTube

About the Video

Going along with the song’s title, “Bloom”, the music video had a floral (and painting) theme. The video looks to be in a 4:3 (almost square) aspect ratio. Troye turned to Instagram for inspiration. Throughout the video, Troye is seen wearing “feminine” clothes while striking poses for the camera. The video is basd on Leigh Bowery references and an old photo shoot world. The vision for the video was to show Troye Sivan as an important queer figure in pop culture. This music video is the second video for a song from his second album, “Bloom”.
